2005-2006: Some Hearts

Her 2005 debut album, Some Hearts, hit #1 on the Country charts and went platinum x4. She's breaking allSome Hearts sorts of records with #1 hits, debuts, you name the record and she has likely broken it or in the process of doing so. Carrie's success is nothing less than spectacular. "Jesus, Take The Wheel" was the 1st of a string of #1 hits from this country gal but by no means the last. "Jesus, Take The Wheel" took the charts by storm and held #1 for 6 consecutive weeks narrowly avoiding the Connie Smith record of 8 weeks way back in 1964. A big part of Carrie's success is her crossover appeal. "Jesus, Take The Wheel" climbed to #20 on the Hot 100 too.

The single "Some Hearts" made it to #12 on the Adult Contemporary charts.

'Don't Forget to Remember Me' Music Video - Carry

"Don't Forget To Remember Me" was released to her country fans and made it to #2 on the Country charts. It also made it to #49 on the Hot 100 which is not bad for a "country" song. Fans all over love Carrie whether she's singing country, pop, or something in between. "Don't Forget To Remember Me" also spent a week atop the country single chart at #1.

Carrie gave back to American Idol by performing a couple of times as a guest. It was the perfect spot to introduce her songs "I Made It Through The Rain" and Don't Forget To Remember Me".

Carrie also appeals to Christian radio with #1 spots for both "Jesus, Take the Wheel" and "Don't Forget to Remember Me" . She got Gospel Music Association's Best Country Single of the Year for "Jesus, Take the Wheel" .

"Before He Cheats" made #1 on the country charts as well as #16 on the Hot 100. This song shows that Carrie can be angry as well as her usual sweet self.

Her fourth single released to country radio was. It peaked at #16 and is currently at #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and at #1 for Hot Country Songs for a fourth week in a row and is expected for five. This current single is a definite change of style for Carrie, showing off her angry side.

CMT loves Carries videos as well as they placed Jesus Take The Wheel and Don't Forget To Remember Me at #1 for weeks.
