2009 Tour Dates

Carrie's tour with Keith Urban ended in April. She continues to tour solo to sold out shows and great reviews.

Her 2007 album Carnival Ride has already gone platinum 2 times as of December 2007. She sings on the soundtrack of Enchanted and the video mimics the movie showing Carrie as animated and live. The Hear Something Country Christmas 2007 also featured Carrie with a rendition of Do You Hear What I Hear?. The song hit #2 on the AC Chart and held on for 3 weeks.

Country singer extraordinaire Carrie Underwood hails from Muskogee, Oklahoma and was the winner of the Season 4 American Idol. Her 1st album went platinum 4 times and she is the hottest country female in the business. She has won numerous awards including three Billboard Music Awards, a Dove Award, two Academy of Country Music Awards and two Country Music Association. AMA voted her Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

Carrie's fans are known as "Carrie's Care Bears" because her name sounds like "care", and she was in the same sorority (Sigma Sigma Sigma) as Care Bears creator Linda Denham.

Carrie started off singing in church as a young child and performed in talent shows. At the tender age of 13 her manager pursued a a record contract with Capitol Records.

Carrie is a s smart as she is talented graduating magna cum laude from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.

On American Idol, Simon predicted that she would win the contest and outsell all the previous Idol winners. She returned to Idol on Season 6 to sing "Wasted". She has performed on Idol on 3 other occasions.
